Ignacio and I spent our honeymoon on the beautiful island of Bali. After the wedding and all the excitement, Bali was just what we both needed <3
The trip to Bali was around eighteen hours long, but it was so worth it! When we arrived to the most beautiful hotel I have ever been to, a nice welcome gift and sweet arrangements in our hotel room made our arrival to this beautiful place so special. I still couldn’t believe that we are really married now and that this was our Honeymoon โ I was the luckiest person on the planet. We enjoyed every single day on this paradise island. The weather was perfect, we had 28 degrees, and it was sunny all of the time. Food, in general, was so delicious. The breakfast was just perfect, for me as a breakfast-lover, it was heaven on earth ๐ They had all exotic fruits, croissants, chocolate pastries, rainbow juices made out of local fruits and vegetables and delicious pancakes, and everything else you could wish for. But they also had amazing lunch and dinner menus โ I had the best curry ever!
The beach was just five minutes away from our hotel room. We woke up every day with a view to the ocean and of course, we also had this famous bathtub from which you can look directly at the sea ๐ Dinner we used to have sometimes in a cave with romantic arrangements, like candles everywhere and also a view of the ocean! I really fell in love with Bali โ it is totally different from all the places I have been to before and I have never met so many extremely nice people, I guess it’s the Balinese culture <3
We have been looking for a long time for a nice and relaxing place for our honeymoon, we wanted a beach but also to be able to visit places and do a bit of sightseeing, and it had to be in summer, right after our wedding โ Bali was just perfect. So if you are also planning to go to Bali during the European summertime โ I can totally recommend it! ๐
